History

    This Society was founded on March 24, 1978 and was incorporated and registered with the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs on October 16, 1978 as the Korean Society for the Cerebral Palsied.  Branch Offices of the Society were established in the cities of Pusan and Taegu.

   In 1981, the Society was accepted as a member of the international Cerebral Palsy and in 1982 joined the C.P. Internation Sports and Recreation Association.  In 1982, the Korean Society for the Cerebral Palsied established "A Sister-Agency" with National Federation of the Parents of Physically Handicapped Children in Japan.

   In 1990, the Society was entrusted by the Seoul City Government to operate the Seoul Rehabilitation Center for the Cerebral Palsied.
