Education

From Summer 2014 to Spring 2016, I attended Northern Virginia Community College at their Loudoun County campus.
I completed my Associates degree there, earning a Liberal Arts degree. Some of the most influential courses I took there included:

• HIST 121: United States History–This course was taught half online, and required the creation of a video project.

As of Fall 2016 I have been attending George Mason University as a student in the English Department, working towards a degree with a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric.
Thus far at Mason I have completed many intriguing courses, such as:

• ENGH 399: Creative Nonfiction–A course that taught me about creating interesting nonfiction for publication.
• HIST 375: History of the Appalachian Trail–A course that not only taught me history, but allowed me to create an online exhibit of my research using Omeka.

I am also currently taking a course known as ENGH 375: Web Authoring and Design, which is providing me with indepth knowledge on coding and webpage creation.

My college education has given me great knowledge about the workings of the publishing industry, beneficial writing skills, as well as allowed me to explore areas I am unfamiliar with such as creating webcontent.
