North American Intersex Advocacy
- The Intersex Society of North America has great information about the difficulties American intersexuals face. You can also visit their frequently asked questions page, or you can visit their different webpages such as their Bibliographies page, History page, and Videos page for more history and links to other sites and information. If you didn't check out the link provided on the “Gender, Sex, and Intersex” page, please check out the ISNA's Condtions page.
- InterACT Advocates for Intersex Youth is a great site for information about intersex youth advocacy in North America. It includes information about the groups policies, their goals, and allows viewers to see some of the real youths involved in the group. If you wish to donate to the cause or help raise awareness of intersex youth, this website would be the most helpful to visit.
- Intersex Initiative is an Oregon‐based group that provides links to other intersex sites worth viewing, such as the intersex communities in Japan and the UK. THis site also offers viewers great articles and documents that provide more information on topics such as medical treatment, hermaphrodites, and controversies within intersex advocacy.
