Educating the Public
Educating the public took place in both cookie booth sales and the Gold Award project. I made a clear connection to show that educating others with the knowledge that you have can benefit the whole community. It only takes one person to start something and then you have to start with social networking to advertise your cause. Find out who you know, what they can do, and in what ways can they benefit your cause that you are advocating as a citizen. Girl Scouts is a great way to advertise something because many people look at us as leaders within the community. So, when a Girl Scout needs to get something done, our reputations of being good citizens make people more open to helping us.
