Evaluation Plan

"Formative evaluation is a systematic and empirical method for revising instruction to improve its effectiveness and efficiency. More than just assessing the worth or success of the instruction, formative evaluation seeks information to improve it." from Planning and conducting Formative Evaluations by Martin Tessmer

Need for the Evaluation

This evaluation is designed to determine if the T/TAC Online system can be successfully used by T/TAC staff for uploading and displaying quality training content.

This is a two-part evaluation. Each part will be described on a separate page:

  • System Usability Evaluation
An evaluation of the ease of use of the T/TAC Online site for T/TAC staff users, the media formats the site can best deliver, and the best practices for the workflow required to upload content to the site.

  • Content Development Evaluation
An assessment of the support and guidance required for T/TAC staff to convert existing seminar and workshop materials to effective online content.
