Accomplishments:

  • Lenore created the template for Meeting Minutes and that information was emailed to the Team for their review and approval

  • The objectives list was also included on the website

  • The team learned more about vision, mission and objectives and used that information to create the Project website. The website was created and uploaded by Jason Wilhelm once consensus was reached by the team. The process was the team's first real attempt at discussion and was a time-consuming process. Progress was made, and the vision and mission statement was agreed upon as a draft or work-in-progress.
 

Items Discussed:

  • The team discussed Norms, Decision Making, and created a Role Rotation Schedule. Meeting times were discussed and it was agreed that we will meet on Tuesdays from 9-10 a.m. and Thursdays 2:30- 3:30 p.m.

  • The team designated specific roles for team members (Meeting Organizer, Scribe, Webmaster, and Point of Contact). Descriptions of each role were posted on the website.
    • The first webmaster will be Jason, the first scribe will be Lenore, the first meeting organizer will be Jami, and the first Point of Contact will be Rhonda
 

Short Term Action Items:

  • Jami is in the process of creating the meeting agenda for next week and meeting agenda points should be emailed to her by Monday at 4:30 p.m.

 

Long Term Action Items:

  • The team received the breakdown of research assignments from Dr. Kevin Clark and incorporated that information into the list of objectives for the Fall 2006 semester:
    • Identify connection between Math and Science Achievement and Technology
    • Identify connection between Gaming and Achievement
    • Benchmark Gaming Software
    • Investigate successful after-school programs
