Once construction is accomplished, clicking the “Run” Button produces a data analysis of the physical and structural properties of the sculpture as it would exist if actually built. This data may be viewed as the result of a particular set of choices made by the student during the construction process.

     Throughout the production phase, students can implement, then alter or revisit, the prototype to discover and incorporate new directions for their work.

     When used as part of a larger environment where teachers assume the role of coach (prompting students to view their own process, review their decision-making and self-assess), the SculptureQuest Microworld becomes an integral part of a constructivist learning environment.
