I am currently interested to advise students in applied artificial intelligence, IT and engineering education and education technology, science and practice of innovation and creativity.

Current PhD Students

Mohammed Alnuri Alanazi (PhD in IT advisor from 2023): Topics: Cybersecurity training using intelligent tutoring systems, serious games, and gamification; Description: Investigates how intelligent tutoring systems, serious games, and gamification can improve cybersecurity training. It focuses on how leaderboard design affects motivation, engagement, and learning performance. Designed and deployed a bilingual (Arabic/English) phishing awareness training platform and conducted a randomized experiment comparing three leaderboard conditions.
