Design
We had to utilize an image editing software to create an aesthetically pleasing image of a quote with many different fonts. It was a two part exercise: learn to use an image editing software like Adobe InDesign (which I used here) or Photoshop and learning typography and how to pick fonts and colors.

Document Design
I created an e-book using the text Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen for a document design course. Access to a PDF version of it will be here.

Video
This is a video I co-produced and directed with M. Quinn and S. Foltz for a multimedia journalism course. We had to make a short documentary video about some event or issue in the DMV area. We co-wrote a proposal together as well that can be viewed under the Writing Samples tab. It's a little harder to define my parts in the video since the three of us interviewed, directed, and produced this video together. I contacted the Office of the Arts and we were lucky enough to be allowed to interview and make a video about a local effort to spur interest in art. The Office of the Arts for Alexandria, VA created a program called the Alexandria Mobile Arts Lab. They drive around in a bus to different locations in Alexandria introducing art to the public through shows, demonstrations, and workshops. We had a fun time participating in art and producing the video.
