Research Interests
Broadly, I am particularly interested in the effects of one’s language environment on their language use. How the people you interact with, or the community one is entrenched in can affect language production and language perception.
Currently my research interests lay in answering how does heritage speakers language use differ from native speakers and second language learners? I am currently researching this by analyzing consonant production using phonological processes and sociolinguistic variation across different speaker types.
Further information on ongoing studies can be found in the Current Studies section.
