I am an Assistant Professor in the
Department of Computer Science
at
George Mason University,
having previously completed my M.S. and Ph.D.
in Computer Science there,
and my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the
University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign. My Ph.D. research, advised by
Professor Dana
Richards, involves analysis of randomized algorithms,
combinatorics, and information dissemination algorithms, and
network communication.
I've lived most of my life in northern Virginia.
I've also lived in Illinois and New York, and was born in
the former Yugoslavia.
I live with my lovely wife,
Dr. Sanja
Avramovic, and daughter, Tara.
Besides computers, technology, science, and math, my
interests include sports, artwork, and sightseeing.
