George Mason University

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at George Mason University, having previously completed my M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science there, and my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My Ph.D. research, advised by Professor Dana Richards, involves analysis of randomized algorithms, combinatorics, and information dissemination algorithms, and network communication.

I've lived most of my life in northern Virginia. I've also lived in Illinois and New York, and was born in the former Yugoslavia. I live with my lovely wife, Dr. Sanja Avramovic, and daughter, Tara. Besides computers, technology, science, and math, my interests include sports, artwork, and sightseeing.
