About This Site

This website was created as part of a final project for my ENHG 375 class at GMU. I am working on becoming a math teacher and I tutor math. I have always wanted create a math website to help students better understand math problems. There are a lot of math websites, but some require payment and only give partial explanations. This website aims to steer away from both and keep the student focused on mathematics.

About Me

My name is Heather and I am a senior at George Mason University. I lived in Fairfax my whole life. Since I can remember I've always wanted to be a teacher, I just never knew what I wanted to teach. I stumbled upon the subject of math in my 7th grade and fell in love with it. I tutor students from elementary to high school students for seven years now. I found out through the students that teachers will skip steps or think that the students already know the basics. In most cases, this is not the truth. So I decided to make a step-by-step website to help them out.
