Information Security is very importnant because the information is increasing and the threats to information systems from criminals and attackers are increasing. The main reason for this is that access to information and associated resources has become easier because of the developments in distributed processing for example the internet and electronic. Organizations need to ensure that their information is properly protected and that they maintain a high level of information security. The public is increasingly concerned about the proper use of information, particulary personal data. The threats to information systems from criminals and terrorists are increasing.
