My first computer course was in high school in 2018, I learned how to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Then in 2019 I graduated high school and started taking classes at Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) where I first majored in Computer Science. After two semesters, I realized that Computer Science wasn't right for me, so I switched my major to Graphic Design, since I enjoyed making artwork. However after one semester, I changed my major again, this time after extensive research, I switched my major to Information Technology, which helped me realize just how cool computers are. I went from struggling in community college and not exactly knowing what I wanted to do, to now being in a major that allows me to embrace new technology and help people.
