PROCEDURE FOR INVESTIGATION UNDER LAW

When we at the FIB choose to undertake an investigation we are bound by a certain protocol to insure that the rights of all parties are respected under the U.S Constitution. Below is an outline of the basic procedures we have in place to assure that the rights of every American citizen are being protected while we protect every American.

The first thing we do when a case is brought to our attention is that we investigate the trustworthiness of the case itself to make sure that it's not just someone trying to smear another individuals or companies reputation.

After this we make sure to get warrants for any searches and the warrants have to have a reason approved by a judge or the DA. This is nearly impossible if we at the FIB cannot give good enough reason to suspect the need of such warrant.

Finally, we make sure to read every persons rights as they are arrested to insure that they are aware of their miranda rights.
