Deborah has a Master's Certificate Degree in Professional Writing and Rhetoric and a Bachelor's Degree in English-Creative Writing with a Minor in Communications from George Mason University. She transferred to George Mason from Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) with an Associates Degree and wanted to pursue an English degree since high school. She is currently looking for the perfect job and hopes to become a writer for an advertising company or a PR firm.

Deborah loves spending time with family and friends, writing, reading, traveling, trying new foods, doing spontaneous activities, and loves listening to all types of music, especially 80s music. She also loves watching horror and comedy films, and her favorite television show is "True Blood". Some of her favorite authors include: Aimee Bender, David Sedaris, Khalid Hosseini, Charlaine Harris, and Edgar Allen Poe.
