The image of the computer was used to represent the information technology course. It was also used as a symbol for the technology used in the course. The computer was chosen to represent the course because a lot of the applications used in the course are available on computers. Some of those applications are Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, HTML, and the internet. All of these applications plus much more are accessible on computers.
