Fear is in never trying, fear is in giving up. Never fear the unknown, never let the system win and when all else fails, back it up, wipe it out and start over... Robin

Modified Images Reflections
By far, this has to have been one of my favorite projects this semester. I have had a great deal of experience using both draw tools and Paint but never once did ever consider taking a picture and modifying it to fit my needs. Adding words to an already created image is something a lot of us do often, it's easier than creating the graphic from scratch, but the idea of transforming an entire picture was just brilliant. I do know know how I will use this in the future, but it is certainly something that I will try and teach my kids, if the opportunity arises. Too often I hear them say, "I can't do that because I'm not artist", or "I can't draw, so what's the point". Modifying an image, such as I did my with my picture, gives them the freedom to express themselves without having to be a great artist. If they can use an pen (with a tablet type computer) or a mouse, and they are able to open Paint, then they are able to create something fun and exciting.
