Instructional Design Portfolio
Nearly 20 years ago I was a new graduate with a biology degree working in a development laboratory for a multinational pharmaceutical company. I was using science to solve problems and bring new drugs to the market and I thrived. Later jobs cast me in marketing and business development roles, but while I enjoyed interacting and educating people, I did not enjoy the pressure to close the sales deal. I’ve been exploring that space between the science laboratory and sales, searching for something which involves the problem solving and technical challenges of science and the communication skills and collaboration of sales. My search led me to discover the field of instructional design. This site contains descriptions of the course work and links to artifacts of the program for the completion of the Masters in Education in Instructional Design and Technology.
