Research Interests

Development and application of coupled storm, wave, and erosion models for coastal flooding from tropical and extratropical storm; model validation with observations and model inter-comparisons; progress in phase resolving nearshore wave models for wave-vegetation interactions; coupling of river and coastal models to address linkage between inland/coastal flooding; field observations in coastal wetlands; and strategies to increase coastal resilience by using green infrastructure.
