Meet Your Pi Baker!
Here is just some information about the creator of this website, Dan O'Shea!
Hi, I am Dan O'Shea. I currently work as an Instructional Designer and am a student at George Mason University. My first Raspberry Pi was a Raspberry Pi Zero that I used while teaching 5th Grade Science. My students loved the look of the Pi, loved setting it up, and loved working on it as well. Our school was a Title One school and often, we did not have enough computers for multiple students to use at the same time. I purchased Pi Zeros to help with this lack of technology so students would have more access and could learn!
My first project was with a Raspberry Pi 2. I developed a simple computer to teach myself Python. I also worked on creating a Retro Gaming Console to relive my glory days as a Super Nintendo Junkie! I now have gone on to use the Raspberry Pi 3 to work on other projects, including a media player and mini weather station.
I hope you have learned a little more about how extraordinary these tiny computers can be
