Volunteer
The most valuable assets of Thompson Beagle Rescue is our volunteers. Throughout the year we host many events around the Mid-Atlantic region to raise funds, find homes for our rescue dogs, find foster families and raise awareness to the rescue and rehabilitation of beagles.
We host several volunteer events around the area throughout the year. A bi-monthly meet and greet is held at local dog parks around the region where friends and family can meet our rescue dogs, pet and play with them also. Fundraising fairs are also held around the area where volunteers sell baked goods, homemade pet toys and other donated items from the community where all proceeds go directly to the Thompson Beagle Rescue Foundation.
One important volunteer role is to foster a rescue beagle. These dedicated individuals work tirelessly to rehabilitate dogs back to health, do some obedience training and work directly with individuals and families wanting to add a rescue beagle to their loving home.
