I used this picture of a human looking like a robot because when most people think of aritifical intelligence they think of robots. In reality artificial intelligence is any computerized program that has human like intelligence. The picture depicts a human looking man, seeminly computerized and touching internal computer workings, showing that artificial intelligence is human like intelligence.

This picture relates to my Artificial Intelligence Final Paper because this image is one of the earlier books that showed the presence of artificial intelligence. In the story of I, Robot, the robot starts asking questions to his human creators that show that this robot has human like intelligence. The idea of robots taking over has been a part of science fiction novels for many years and Isaac Asimov's I, Robot shows the impact of human like intelligence.

I placed this on the social implications page because it is one of the social issues about how to interact with the increasing amount of aritifical intelligence

This video is a Ted Talk given by Nick Bostrom and he talks about some ethical issues pertaining to artificial intelligence. One of the biggest concerns with artifical intelligence is that artificial intelligence will take over and more and more jobs are diminishing. This Ted Talk does a great job in describing some of the ethical issues with artificial intelligence.

The scholarly article A (very) Brief History of Artificial Intelligence by Bruce Buchanan is feature published in AI magazine, a trade journal. This article mentioned the beginnings traces of artificial intelligence and voiced a few milestones listed in the field of artificial intelligence. This article is pretty reliable as is published in an artificial intelligence magazine. While it did have quite a bit of information, it was not as reliable as a scholarly article. The article has many references throughout the paper, and it was very helpful when writing about the background of artificial intelligence.

The article Artificial Intelligence and Intrusion Detection: Current and Future Directions written by Jeremy Frank was published in the scholarly journal Proceedings of the 17th National Computer Security Conference. The article stated that the current use of intrusion detection systems were being slowly produced since they were being made by man and the system was not able to detect intrusions that well. The use of artificial intelligence would help in productivity as more machines would be made, there would be less manmade errors, and the machines could catch and analyze the intruders more efficiently. The article was pretty reliable as it is a scholarly article published in a journal. However it was published in 1994 and new information since then has been procured.

The article also goes on to question whether or not artificial intelligent systems should have the same rights as humans. While the article is written well and backs up their information with a real life situation, this article is not as reliable as the others because it is published on just a tech website.
