CRAY 1 (1976) - a 75MHz, 64-bit machine with a peak speed of 160 megaflops (one million floating point operations per second), the world's fastest processor at that time.

Notice how large this computer is, compared to the desktop and lap top computers we have today.  Desktop computers, today, have more power than the Cray.
