Thinking Reflection

Some of my first thoughts were to compare the use of AT while struggling to climb a steep mountain. Although it is made possible only if you have a solid base of administrative support, the teacher is the impetus for giving student access to AT for class activities. With a positive outlook the teacher can introduce the use of AT, train students to use it effectively, and encourage its use in the writing process. Then with a student’s acceptance, AT can become a tool for the student to more effectively get thoughts on paper. With less frustration and more success, AT becomes an invaluable tool for a lifetime.
