In-Class Exercise #3: More Revision

 
Instructions

Again, your goal today should be to improve your Research Project Position Paper as much as possible. You should bring the document in its current form to class.

This time, you may revise whatever elements of the paper you wish. You may work on your arguments by focusing on the transitions to and commentary on quotations, improve the introduction and conclusion, continue to work on clarity and style, or address any other concerns you have. If you are struggling with something in particular, please feel free to call me over for help. If you would like to get a peer’s input and are willing to offer the same assistance in return, feel free.

In short, I have set today aside as an open-ended workshop that you may take advantage of in any way you see fit, provided you are in-class and working on the assignment.

 
Guidelines

As a general rule, the more changes you make, the better.

Do not even think of asking me if you can leave early and still get credit. No, you can’t. Essays improve for no reason except that you work on them.

 
Length and other requirements
None. You get full credit for today’s exercise if you are in class and working on the essay for the entire period.
