We, as a country, should make the effort to keep in better contact with some of the third-world countries. | AIDS is an epidemic that affects people all around today's world. Although there is no cure for AIDS, there is medicine that you can take to prolong your life. In third-world countries, many people do not have the opportunity to experience these medicines. Through globalization, people have started to realize that AIDS is a big problem, and it needs to be controlled. More and more countries that have these medicines, such as the United States, set up events to raise money for either research to find a cure, or to donate to third-world countries so they can afford some of the medicine that is available.
