"According to Henry Dreyfus, green, midori is regarded as the color of eternal life, as seen in evergreens which never change their color from season to season." (three-musketeers.net)
Personally, I've always loved the color green. So this wasn't too hard of a choice for me.
But while searching for different greens to use for the backgrounds for my page I realized
something. Green is an awesome color, but it's really hard to find greens that go well together.
I probably should have Googled a color palette.
Green is often found to be relaxing and refreshing, more often than not it reminds people
of the outdoors. It maximizes readability and minimizes optical fatigue, which is important
to consider when designing a webpage.
Green is known to sooth and reduces levels of anger and frustration more than any other color.
It is also a very useful marketing tool.
Now that I've told you what is so great about this
color get out there and use it. But, don't get too crazy with the color green, as too much of it
can cause negative feelings - such as envy, resentment, and possessiveness. When used in
combination with other colors green - like blue, yellow, white, or red - green can become an
even better design and marketing tool.
