Topic One:
New Term Housekeeping

Addressed issues related to setting up our working structure for Spring term including:

  1. Facilitator/Note Taker Schedule - Jolin
  2. Consolidated Class Schedule Table - Leslie
  3. New Project Site Administrators -
    Mona, Joan & Robert
  4. Review and revise group norms
  5. Review team mission and vision statements
  6. Create clearly defined roles

We decided to have a dedicated team meeting to discuss items 4, 5, 6.

Topic Two:
Status of TTAC Online Training Site

Joan provided a report to the team on testing of the site which took place during the break:

  • Shuangbao has done considerable work both on the input from the team and additional enhancements.
  • DOE wants to start using the site as soon as possible, so we need to prioritize tasks to get a functional site as soon as possible.
    Implementation of some enhancements has raised other issues so the actual value they add needs to be evaluated inlight of these issues (particularly preview).
  • There are issues related to where the user goes after viewing webshops which need to be discussed and evaluated.
  • The focus of the current testing and revisions is on function over form.
  • Joan will arrange a meeting with Shuangbao as early as possible next week to get his feedback on the status of the site and associated issues to be resolved.

All team members will test the creation and viewing processes and send their comments to Robert by 6:00 pm Thursday. Robert will compile them and send to Joan to flag items Shuangbao is already working on by noon on Friday. Joan will distribute to group via email Friday afternoon.

Topic Three:
Overview of Items to be Addressed during the Spring Term

We listed a summary of issues we plan to address during the Spring term.

  • Black Board Courses
  • Tutorial(s) to include the following topics:
    • Pedagogical re-engineering
    • Pre-production work flow
    • Uploading a Power Point Presentation
    • Step-by-Step Guide to TTAC Online Training Site
  • Quick Start Guide

After we have met with Shuangbao and discussed the current issues, Mona will arrange a meeting with Mike to be sure everyone is in agreement with goals for this term.

Topic Four:
February Presentation

Discussed high-level issues associated with preparation for presentation February 19 - 21 on TTAC Online.

Identified some tasks associated with this delivery.

  • Format - length, etc.
