Participant Introduction

• We are not testing your ability to use this site; we are testing the sites’ ability to meet your needs.
• Your feedback will help us ensure that T/TAC Online will meet the needs of T/TAC professionals.
• The site is designed to allow T/TAC staff to upload training content for presentation over the Internet. There are two kinds of presentations we’ll try today. One is a webshop which is a presentation designed to last 15-30 minutes, something a viewer might complete in one sitting. The other is a course which is a set of webshops combined in one course.
• Please try to think out loud as you use the site. Let us hear the questions in you mind. We need to know if you can’t find something or if something is not absolutely clear to you. Let us hear about the features you like about the site.
• Does your PC have a floppy &/or a CD? We have some sample media for your use during our evaluation. (Give them the media.)

Task 1 – Create a Webshop Your goal for our first task is to create a simple webshop made up of several kinds of media. Construct a webshop and make it available to viewers of the site. Name this webshop with your name and the date, e.g., “Leslie’s 3/1/04 Webshop.” This webshop will include the sample media we brought and consist of 3 pages and: A page with one large graphic (Image-1large.jpg). Title this page “My First Page.”  Add a description like “my description.” Check to see how this page will look to the site’s viewers before starting on the next one. A page with some text (SampleText.doc), a video clip (TinyMovie3.mov), and an Acrobat PDF file (acrobat6matrix.pdf). Title this page “My Second Page.”  A page with two links to other web sites, kihd.gse.gmu.edu/ and www.gmu.edu. This page could serve as place for viewers to find additional information. Title this page “My Third Page.”  When all the pages are created, ensure that other site viewers can find your webshop.	Steps 1. Online Training tab 2. Add a Webshop button 3. Enter profile info 4. Task 2 – View a Webshop Starting from the T/TAC Online Home page, find your webshop and view all of it.	Steps Click on webshop Continue button
Task 3 – Revise a Webshop Go to the T/TAC Online Home page. Now your goal is make the following changes to your webshop: Remove “My Third Page” from your webshop Move “My Second Page” so that it becomes the first page Change the title on “My Second Page” to “My First Page” Ensure that site viewers can find your revised webshop	Steps My Webshops link Edit button for the webshop Delete button Arrow (move) icon Edit button for the page Done Publish View

Task 4 – Create a Course Your goal here is to create a course consisting of your webshop and two other webshops. Starting from the T/TAC Online Home page, create a course. Task 5 – View a Course From the T/TAC Online Home page, find your course and view all of it.	Steps 1. Click on the course’s name
Tasks 6 – Revise a Course Go the T/TAC Online Home page.
