Aanal Sheth -

How can I help my team - I can help by speaking about my unspoken ideas. My feeling nature can bring a sense of commitment and most importantly trust to the team. I can help my team maintain focus on timely completion with a flexible and tolerant attitude.

How can my team help me - My group members can give me a little dose of extroversion. I know I need to speak up but I would like my group members to give me time for reflection, provide me with detailed explanation of the unfamiliar processes/tasks and be patient with my ignorance of practices which are new to me.

Meredith Riddile -

How can I help my team - I can become a more effective listener. I can take a "pause" to help my more introverted group members collect their thoughts. I can keep my detail-oriented mentality, but look to my more "big picture" teammates for the overall that ties my details together. I can help us to stay focused on our tasks and maintain structure for our project. I want to reflect more internally, so hopefully this will help me relate better to those who are more introverted.

How can my team help me - My group members can help to keep my extroversion "in-check," carefully reminding me to give them a moment to think. I feel that my introverted group members need to speak up more often, even if they are saying "I have an idea, I just need another minute." Also, I would like my more intuitive group member, Jennifer, to help me to see the big picture and help me to provide that in our presentations. I want to learn how to make my ideas appeal to more personalities than just mine and by pulling strengths from each of my group members, I think I will gradually learn how to accomplish that.

Jennifer Okezie -

How can I help my team - Because of my intuitive nature I can help the team remember the "big picture" and brainstorm several possibilities to solve a problem. I can also use my preference for feeling to remind the team of how group decisions may affect the people involved.

How can my team help me - My extroversion characteristics are evident in the way I process my thinking. I like to "think aloud" and explain my thought process so that I too understand it better. I would like my team to be willing to "listen to my thoughts" and then respond by asking clarifying questions or by challenging my thinking.

I take a judging attitude towards the world, which means I like structure and order. I would like the team to agree upon plans to follow so that we can work efficiently and hold each other accountable to being organized and accomplishing tasks.

Tsehaye Habteselasie

How can I help my team - Subsequent to taking the Myers Briggs Report the Indicator reports on how I like to use my perception and judgment. According to the Report Form for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the answers given reflect four separate preferences called EI, SN, TF and JP. I am type ISTJ. Which means I am an SJ, what does this mean about me? I like structure, order, procedures, stability, I have the attitude of “If it isn’t broken don’t fix it. Now with what my team and I now about personality, how can I help my group?
Me and other SJ’s alike can
• Keep the group focused.
• Stay on target.
• Bring the group to closures.
• I can also focus on details that can be essential for our project.

How can my team help me - Help me see the big picture, help me understand concepts, because I am in a rush to close a project or a phase of the project I sometimes don’t focus on what’s important which is understanding what I am doing and help me to not get stuck in details
