Summary: Based on information presented regarding her Delphi study, Professor Norton was asked to share her research on the acceptance of online learning by the teacher population. Her research found that teachers are receptive to online training.
Questions:

You mentioned in your Delphi presentation that you have data regarding teachers' preferred method of delivery for inservice and other training? Could you provide us with a summary of the data as well as how to locate the source?

Yes. The Delphi study participants indicated their preference to take training online. However, I have another study which goes into more detail.
In this study we delivered a course using three different delivery modes and assessed the value of each.
What we learned was that learning methods which incorporated student interaction were more effective than pure onling training. However, the teachers who were our students in the study were willing to give up some quality for the convenience offered by online training such as not needing to hire a babysitter or travel to the class location.
