- New to county and TTAC services as of September 2000
- Enjoys TTAC's workshops and thinks that the lecture, overhead, video, and
hand-out format is effective
- To set up workshops she calls Shannon
- Uses the State Department, US Dept. of Education, and case law as additional
resources on special needs students
- She "just learned to be computer proficient"--she has downloaded
and uploaded information
- Prefers using the phone, instead of e-mail, to communicate
- Never has paticipated in a discussion forum or chat room
- Has completed PowerPoint Presentations
- She sees herself using the site for informational use only
- She is aprehensive about participating in discussions and chat rooms
- She would advertise the site through word of mouth and newsletters
- She prefers face-to-face discussions rather than electronic conversations
- Would like to see information on alternative assessements, updated special
eduction guidelines and the newest literature on the site
- Likes websites where she can get to information quickly

- To find additional information on special needs students he uses the internet
for information
- He is very technically proficient and has uploaded and downloaded information
- He has participated in discussion forums and chat rooms
- He voluteered to develop a website as a resource for PWCS special needs
parents
- He prefers using e-mail, rather than the phone
- He sees himself using the site as an information tool, not for communication
or social purposes because he does not have time
- He would like to have an on-line database of the TTAC library on the site
- He doesn't like unrelevant information and flashing advertisements on websites
- He would like minimal use of graphics
