Time & Location:          Commerce lab 1, room 100 at 10:00 – 1:00

Note:                            The T/TAC project team presented a brief introduction and flowcharts of T/TAC Online.  Questions for Mary and main issues were discussed.

Topics Covered:

Resource Center

·        Avoid using the word ‘library’- people may think this place is a lending library, which regional T/TAC websites already have.  We will link to existing TTAC regional libraries in resource center/area.

·        TTAC staff may upload and download in the Resource Center.  The center will act as a collaborative process for the TTAC staff.

·        Professionals (teachers and therapists) and parents may only download from the Resource Center.

Webshops

·        TTAC staff can share webshops with other personnel for feedback, and upon completion can upload.  Downloading content is also available for the staff. Approval is a collaborative process (Mike’s suggestion).

·        Developing two interactive webshops at this time considering three phases: presentation of introduction, interactive sequence, and closing activity  (Mary will give content.)

Sharing Materials among TTAC Staff

·        Works just like webshops where the process is collaborative.  Could occur in an asynchronous discussion if the materials are attachable (depends on size of the files).

Announcements

·        New products and ads. will be labeled “New” to indicate new attachment.

Consultation Request

·        Creating places of submitting video (Mary wants to see how the child do practice) and pre-ask a question before having consultation under requesting consultation area

·       A listing of TTAC personnel listed by region and by category. The request will be transmitted to a particular person in TTAC.

Ask an Expert

·        Archive questions and answers. Questions submitted to TTAC Regional Coordinators.

“Professionals” instead of  “Educators”

·        We will replace the title Educator with Professional.

·        After the meeting, the design team agreed to use Let’s Talk instead of Professional Talk and TTAC Talk.

Contact List

·        Creating contact list by region and category (specialization)

Tracking

·        Counter feature in each page of T/TAC Online (suggested by Mike)

Share Your Story

·        TTAC staff can only share a story.  The stories for approval are sent to regional coordinators. Guidelines will be provided, such as not mentioning names or identities and keeping the content non-specific. Bill Reeder has an example of this on a website titled, Cristina.org.

Back Story

·        The Back Story is a link (likely fostered in the TTAC Online Homepage).  Mary agreed to provide one to the design team.

TTAC Staff Communication Area:

·        Adding video conferencing under T/TAC personnel communication area by just linking to IP addresses (Mike Behrmann’s recommendation)

Comments Function

·        All comments will go to Webmaster.

·        Which raised the issue of hiring a site administrator/webmaster.
