About Josh
Josh Bauzon graduated Magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minor in Software Engineering from George Mason University last May 2017.

He was involved in various activities at George Mason University.
Josh worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant under the Computer Science department for three years, starting his Sophomore year. He is passionate about computer programming and teaching. Josh enjoyed helping students on subjects Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms. Click on the TA Courses tab to see the past courses he was a Teaching Assistant for.
Josh also worked at the office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Multicultural Education (ODIME). His last role was being the Operations Lead and Budget Logistics Coordinator. He worked closely with the Office and Business Manager in monitoring all student wage and financial aid work-study budget. More of his responsibilities included creating the student staff schedules and tracking hours of work-study students, and working with the Operations Coordinators for day to day functions, organization, and workflow of office suite.
Last Summer 2016, Josh worked as a Software Development Intern (with slight focus on Software Testing) at Ellucian, a leading company dedicated to developing software for higher education. He worked with the R&D team to create solutions on improving software productivity and performance.
Josh joined Capital One (at their headquarters at McLean, VA) last July 2017 as an Associate Software Engineer to start his professional career. More than just a finance company, Capital One is dedicated to continue to evolve more as of a technology company, which Josh is excited to be part of.
Personal Projects
Josh developed a website, BookRecycle (or https://bookrecycle.herokuapp.com/), that is a textbook transaction platform where students are able to sell and buy new/used textbooks required/recommended for their classes. See Josh's GitHub page.
More About Josh
Josh was born and raised in the Philippines, and moved to the United States when he was 16. He is fluent both in English and Tagalog.
While not programming, Josh enjoys playing video games, watching movies and Filipino shows, and hanging out with family and friends.
