About: HTML5 Doctor is a collaboration among Rich Clark, Steve Faulkner, Bruce Lawson, Remy Sharp, Oli Studholme, and Ian Devlin.

I liked this site because it had articles that helped with specific issues, but it also broke down HTML into elements and provided help with each issue- for example, the head, different groupings, tables, etc.

I mainly chose to include this site because the browser I use is Firefox and it has information about that.

HTML5 Cheat Sheet

About: An HTML “Cheat Sheet” that you can download as a PDF, and has many of the changes that HTML5 has, as well as if it is the same or different in HTML4 to HTML5. Written by “The Smashing Editorial,” a team that writes about web design and creativity within the web design community.

I chose this site because it seemed like a good overview with snippets of HTML with a good description of what the command did.

I chose this site because it had a good overview of the basics of CSS, and then provided a more in-depth section that had more complicated aspects of CSS.

I chose this site because it was an interesting idea, but it also provides learning opportunities. There's a page that has links to CSS help guides, but each individual page allows the user to open and view both the HTML and the CSS code.

Applying CSS to HTML

Little Web Hut: Applying CSS Styles

About: Little Web Hut is a site that has a lot of CSS resources, and it breaks them down into very specific sections.

I chose this site because of how specific it was with CSS properties, from anything relating to background, to borders and font styles.

CSS Color Problems

Styling Issues Page

About:This site has some important rules with styling CSS and has good and bad examples side by side for beginners.

I chose this site because it was a good list of "don't's" even though it is probably too advanced at this point.

Palletton

About:This is a very basic site that simply creates color palletes for CSS design.

Last viewed Feb 8.

I chose this site because it was basic and allowed me to see all the colors in one place before making them (so I didn't end up with an unreadable webpage).

Copyright Issues with Pictures and Coding
The Best Ways to Be Sure You're Legally Using Online Photos

About: This article is from the Lifehacker Site, and was written by Sara Hawkins in 2013. The lifehacker site has articles on a myriad of topics, but in this case the topic was relevant.

I chose this page because it was a nice layout of what the copyright problems are, the difference between attribution and right (ie, just because you attribute the photo to someone doesn't mean that you can legally use it, etc). The article also discusses the difference between plagiarism and copyright infringement.
