Primary Special Educator for learning challenged students who comprise 1/5 of
         the student population (300% increase over past years).
       Responsibilities include: Co-teaching, individualized instruction for math, reading
         writing & study strategies, modifying tests & exams, producing study materials,
         facilitating SAT team meetings, conducting IEP meetings, administering
         achievement tests, networking with parents and community resources, applying
         for and administering adapted ACTs.
       Presently the principal, development director, and I are redesigning the school’s
         mission to include a specific well designed program for learning challenged
         students.

Designed and implemented Inclusion Pilot Program with Diocesan schools
       Provided specialized instruction for students with special needs in academics.
       Coordinated with instructors to provide remediation and focus on strengths.
       Communicated with parents regarding progress and additional resources.
       Designed formal plans for high school students.
       Applied for and received adapted ACTs on the basis of formal plans.
       Administered adapted ACTs to high school students.
       Worked with students, parents for both college and vocational placement.
       Coordinated Wilson Reading class offering for 12 other facilitator/instructors.



Home Educator through Seton School, Front Royal VA 
(1990 – 2004)
       Provided education in core subjects K – 12 for daughter who has cognitive challenges.
       Adapted and modified curricula received through Seton School.
       Received training and implemented specialized reading programs for dyslexics.
