Damindra Bandara is a PhD candidate in Information Technology at George Mason University, advised by Professor Duminda Wijesekera at Center for Assurance Research and Engineering (CARE). She received her Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Peradeniya , Sri Lanka and Masters degree in Information Security and Assurance from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. Her research interests are security of Software Defined Radios and Cognitive radios, safety and security of Wireless controlled trains, Threat Analysis and formal verification of protocols.
