The quality of outlets for my
work during the evaluation period includes blind peer-reviewed national
journals (Teaching Children Mathematics, Mathematics Teaching in the Middle
Grades, Journal of Computing in Mathematics and Science) in addition to
monographs from the leading mathematics education professional organizations
such as AMTE: Association for Mathematics Teacher Educators and NCTM:
The National Council for Teachers of Mathematics)
Presentations made during the evaluation
period include six international/national presentations and one regional/state
presentations. As a member of the larger mathematics education community, I view
presentations at these conferences as a means of sharing my scholarship of
discovery and application as defined by the Provost’s guidelines for narratives.
