The color pink was first recorded in the 17th century. It symbolizes beauty, grace and goodness. In the 1940's, pink became the societal norm for girls and blue for boys. Specifically, with Hot Pink, it was created in 1949 by Crayola. However, in the early 60's the and Pink Floyd incorporated the color in their name. Hot pink became the more vibrant color in society.
The color hot pink encourages vibrancy, youth and energy. Often, viewing the color increasing blood pressure and motivates action and creativity.

Nike launched their Hot Pink FreeRuns in 2011. Before, women didn't have much choices for stylish,
fun and visually pleasing shoes until now. The hot pink FreeRuns stand out and give a runner the
same support as their previous running shoes that lacked vibrancy.
Victoria's Secret: PINK
Victoria's Secret released their PINK line mid 2000's that includes lingerie, underwear, bras, sport wear and perfume.
The PINK line was directed to the young women just beginning to use women necessity products.
The line begins to integrate young women into the Victoria's Secret products.
T-Mobile
T-Mobile is the only cellular company that uses the color Hot Pink in their logo. The letter in the logo
stands out verses other companies. It gives a buyer the idea the company is new, different and gives
options. T-Mobiles website often uses Hot Pink for their headers and main points and when they want to upsell the customer.
