Peter Rabbit

Date of Birth: 1893

Date of Death: 1895 (presumed)

Peter Rabbit had no influence on Computer Science whatsoever. Instead he was indirectly responsible for technological improvements to garden fencing. These improvements led his nemesis, Mr. William McGregor, to create the McGregor Fencing Company which held many patents and became an international leader in fencing products for several decades.

In the late summer of 1895, Peter was last seen leaving his home on the way to steal carrots from Mr. McGregor's garden. However, McGregor had protected his garden with the latest version of the McGregor Pest Arrest system. Peter was never seen again, and was presumed dead shortly after the incident.
