The Walter's Art Gallery
is a place of intrigue and intellect. I arrive to a marble causeway. There are
many levels to the museum gallery preview in the brochure seems interesting
enough. I need something to get my mind off that old man so I rush into the
museum to see what adventure waits in store for me. The museum is quiet, a good
place to observe and think about all those who came before. Assyrians,
Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, Christians and Muslims are all present and
accounted for. There are all sorts of grand displays on exhibit, but I'm wondering
what society was like in everyday life. People always tend to look for
differences, but I like to look at similarities. I can't get that old man out
of my head. I begin to wonder how many people like him were in the great
civilizations that came before me. My mom says it's time to go get something to
eat at Fells Point. Sounds like a good idea to me I have worked up at appetite
beginning to think about the grand scheme of things.
My biggest concern in seeing all the grandeur of history's civilizations is to
find out what purpose my life holds in the time and place of my short lifetime
here on Earth.
