Study/Learning Abroad

George Mason University offers a wide range of study-abroad opportunities, from short tours led by faculty to semester-long immersion programs.  University credit is awarded for many programs.

                  Center for Global Education (CGE)

                  The Center for Global Education functions as the hub for
                  international educational activities at George Mason
                  University. CGE offers short-term intersession,
                  semester- and year-long exchange and honors
                  programs, and intensive language courses for all
                  members of the academic community and the public.
                  The Center for Global Education hosts international
                  visitors to the university and is the depository of all
                  Memoranda of Understanding concerning educational
                  exchange signed between George Mason University and
                  institutions abroad.

                  Center for Field Studies

                  The center was created to oversee and coordinate field
                  projects and promote and facilitate teaching, research,
                  and study outside of the campus community. Its primary
                  site for outreach activities is the Bahamas Environmental
                  Research Center.
