Chief analyst and developer for the Amazon Information System in a NASA-funded ISU-IU (Indiana State University - Indiana University) LBA project. (http://139.102.60.113/ais). The AIS is an integrated system of Geographic Information System (GIS), remote sensing (image processing) and statistics. Optimized and coded major components for the Amazon Information System using Visual Basic 6 in combination with ADO, Graphic Win32 API, ActiveX Control, COM, and PL\SQL (stored procedures in Oracle). I am currently evolving the AIS into a complete three-tier system with .NET technology.

ArcPad developer: GIS Consultant for the City Tree Inventory project in Terre Haute, Indiana. Used VBScript to program ArcPad running on iPaq (Compaq Palm) with Windows CE. I customized ArcPad 6 at two levels, Applet and Layer Definition. Programming tool is ArcPad Studio 6. Generated Legend and layout using ArcMap/ArcCatalog.
ArcIMS developer: Develop ArcIMS application and maintain ArcIMS server for the Life Science Department on an NSF educational outreach project: Author the map, design the webpage, and manage the services (http://139.102.70.240/website/whitethroatedsparrow).
ArcObjects developer: Collaborated with the GIS modeling team from UC Berkeley on a project for modeling Soil Loss with Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation in Marin County, CA. I created a DLL extension program with ArcObjects, Visual Basic 6.0, ArcGIS (ArcMap/ArcScene), and ArcGIS extensions of Spatial Analyst and 3-D Analyst, to automate the Steepest Path calculation from TIN model for large datasets. Results of analysis were used to advise Marin County Board of Supervisors on land use planning policy decisions.
