Course Grading:

 I will use the +/- grading system. Your grade will be based on exam performance with the following percentages; Exam I (20%), Exam II (25%), Final Exam (35%), Quizzes (15%). Exams will be a combination of short answer and essays. Exam 1 grade includes post exam 1 meeting. Failure to have this meeting results in a 5% reduction on the Exam 1 score. Quizzes will be take home. They will be handed out on Tuesday and are due Thursday at the beginning of class. Late assignments are 25% penalty for late on the due date, 50% one day late and no points are available after 1 day late. Failure to have this meeting results in a 5% reduction on the Exam 1 score.

 

Makeup Policy: There are no makeup exams. You must contact your instructor before an exam if an exam is to be missed for a legitimate reason.
