Office Hours
On nights that we have class, I'll hold office hours
from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in
Room 148 of
Science & Technology 2 (the conference room next to my office).
Knock on my office door (Room 150) to get my attention if you don't find me in 148.
I'm also willing to hang around in the class room and answer questions for 30 minutes
after class.
I can possibly make an appointment to meet with you outside of my scheduled
office hours (but since it's hard to find time to meet about STAT 554
outside of my scheduled office hour on class days, I strongly advise you
to try to make use of my regular office hours). Rather than ask me about this in person, it'll be much
better if you send me an e-mail request for an appointment (so that I
can carefully look at my calendar and consider my schedule before
suggesting or commiting to a particular appointment time).
Important note:
When dropping off late HW papers, or anything
else, try to put them under my office door in
Science & Technology 2 (Room 150).
Be sure to send me an e-mail indicating that you turned in your
paper late (with late meaning that you did not turn it in at the
classroom on the nominal due date). This is especially important if you
fax your paper, since while I am often in my office at
nights and on the weekend, I don't necessarily check the fax machine each day.
