Leading biostatistical analysis for TelSeq Telomere Length Nomogram Creation Utilizing TOPMed Cohorts", focusing on WGS-derived telomere estimation and population-level reference modeling:
Developed regression-based age-adjusted telomere length (WGS-TL) percentiles using cleaned “control” cohorts from the TOPMed program
Applied these percentiles to dichotomize the PFF-PR Interstitial Lung Disease cohort into high vs. low age-adjusted TL groups
Evaluated group differences via Kaplan-Meier survival curves and Cox proportional hazards models; benchmarked against continuous residuals from Age ~ TL regression
Heading a team of researchers in my project "Untangling ILD: An RNA-Seq Clustering Approach for ILD Endotyping" where we performed unsupervised hierarchical clustering on the PFF-PR cohort and characterized resulting clusters based on clinical covariates and phenotypes. We followed this up with Gene Set Enrichment Analysis to identify biologically relevant pathways distinguishing transcriptomic endotypes
Processing and normalizing bulk RNA-Seq data, generating cross-sectional support datasets for ILD cohort studies, and streamlining access to the UVA PRECISIONS pulmonary database through secure infrastructure

Contributed to Assessment of Novel Biomarkers to Predict Recurrence of Atrial Fibrillation:
Conducted a prospective longitudinal clinical trial on 75 patients following catheter ablation to assess the importance of novel biomarkers in the prediction of atrial fibrillation recurrence in the case where p>>n
Assessed the importance of novel biomarkers utilizing correlations, sure independence screening, and random forest models for pre-screening
Employed cross-validated generalized linear models and tree-based designs for final model evaluation
Evaluated the enhancement of predictive capacity by incorporating novel biomarkers, in comparison to baseline characteristics and demographics alone
