| Community Service
played a huge role in Triangle One. It was the goal of the club. By
participating in community service activities it allowed me to gain
a different mind set that work can be done for free just to help
others or to improve a cause. This club taught me to become an
effective citizen, because I gained a huge appreication for
volunteering. |
| Community Service played a role in Student Government, because there
were times when student government had to go outside of the school and
volunteer which was a way we gave back to our community. I feel like volunteering
has really made me into a more effective citizen. It is such a wonderful thing
to do, volunteering to help a good cause or even just to help others and not
receive money for the time spent is a very generous thing to do. Whenever I volunteer
I am able to gain a sense of accomplishment for what I have helped out with. |
| By the time I completed my freshmen year of high school I felt a sense
of responsibility to help others who may be struggling and guide them towards
the right path. By being a peer helper is pretty much the same as doing community
service, because out of my own will I was able to volunteer and help others who
needed help and support. |

Beta club consisted of numerous community service
activities such as community clean ups and mentoring
underclassmen’s. By being a part of these activities allowed me
to appreciate what I was doing even more, and it also taught me that by
giving back to my community I was not only helping others, but I was
also helping myself. |
