Sketches
The following are rough sketches that can be
found
on the night things
website.

This is one of my favorite pictures because of Mr.
Nog, a very funny, vindictive character of the night world.

By looking at these rough sketches you can already see
the amount of attention Naifeh pays to his artwork.
The many faces of Courtney.

Butterworm, the absolute funniest character.

Crumrin Covers
I love how the colors all mesh together perfectly,
creating the perfect mood for a girl to go wandering off around in
dark. It is also the title for the first book. This is the cover for
the comic book, chapter one.

This is one of my favorite covers because of the detail involved in
creating the mirror image. It is a chapter in the first book and a
comic book cover.

This is also a chapter in the book, and a comic book cover. I
love it because the story is a "be careful what you wished for" story
with a hiliarious twist.

This picture is the cove for the comic book series, the last
chapter, and is a panel in the second book. I love this panel because
of what occured in the story. Not to spoil the ending but it is here
that Naifeh establishes Courtney as a force to be reckoned with that is
neither good nor evil.
