Proposal for web review essay: 18th Century Women's Clothing
I will examine the information available on 18th century women's
clothing on the web. Clothing serves as an entree to discuss many
aspects of an 18th century woman's life, is visually compelling, and
draws historians and non-historians alike into a better understanding
of
what women's lives were like.
